Surface Strain Gauge 'GS-10F, GS-10FT'
No correction of measurement values due to the free expansion of steel materials caused by temperature changes is necessary! Surface strain gauge with temperature measurement function.
The "GS-10F, GS-10FT" is a surface strain gauge used for measuring axial forces in cut beams, steel girders, or slurry solidified column piles. A dedicated mounting foot is welded to the object being measured, and the strain gauge body is attached. Since the linear expansion coefficient of the body is manufactured to be the same as that of steel at 11.4×10^-6/℃, there is no need to correct the measurement values for the free expansion of the steel due to temperature changes. We also provide mounting feet (anchors) for installation on the surface of concrete. 【Features】 ■ A dedicated mounting foot is welded to the object being measured, and the strain gauge body is attached. ■ The linear expansion coefficient of the body is manufactured to be the same as that of steel at 11.4×10^-6/℃. ■ There is no need to correct the measurement values for the free expansion of the steel due to temperature changes. ■ Mounting feet (anchors) for installation on the surface of concrete are also available. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
